NBA Game of the Day Cheerleader Preview: Detroit Pistons v. Houston Rockets

Another weekend, another dearth of compelling NBA games. It's almost as if the league trying to ruin my Game of the Day feature. That's some conspiracy theory stuff right there.

So we're going with a game the features a couple of cheer squads that I like. Who really cares about the game on the court anyway. We should all be much more interested in the Detroit Pistons Dancers and the Houston Rockets Power Dancers.

NBA Game of the Day Cheerleader Preview: Brooklyn Nets v. Golden State Warriors

It's another Saturday of some meh games in the NBA today without a single game featuring two teams over .500. Is the league down this year overall or is it just a matter of timing? Either way, I had to make a judgment call, and that judgment call always falls in favor of featuring the hottest cheerleaders!

So we're going with the Brooklyn Nets traveling cross-country to take on the Golden State Warriors. Both squads landed in the Top 11 of our NBA Cheerleader Power Rankings, so at least we have that going for us. Not to mention the fact that we'll get to see Steve Blake, too. That is always a bonus!

NBA Game of the Day Cheerleader Preview: Golden State Warriors v. Phoenix Suns

Not only is this game a battle between two teams squarely in the middle of the NBA playoff race, but it's also a battle of two cheer squads that landed on our 1st Annual NBA Cheerleader Power Rankings!

While the Golden State cheerleaders came in at a respectable #11, the Phoenix Suns cheerleaders stood at the top of the class. Maybe this is a chance for the Warrior Girls to make up a little ground in the battle for next year's top spot!

NBA Game of the Day Cheerleader Preview: Toronto Raptors v. Portland Trail Blazers

Honestly, there really isn't a single game on the NBA's plate today that really should wow anyone. This is probably the only game with two teams that really have a shot at a playoff slot this season. So I guess we're headed to Rip City for our Game of the Day Cheerleader Preview.

The Trail Blazers are obviously one better teams in the league this year, but I'm not sure people expected them to lead the league in scoring at this point in the season. The Raptors, on the other hand, are a bit of a surprise so far, and I'd like to see them make a postseason run. We need a little new blood in there to shake things up.

Game of the Day Cheerleader Preview: Oklahoma Thunder v. San Antonio Spurs

There aren't too many teams in the NBA with only single-digit losses at this point, and tonight we get to see two of them go head-to-head. I actually really like both the Thunder and the Spurs, so this one is tough for me. To make things worse, I'm a fan of both of their cheer squads. Is it possible to root for a tie in basketball?

NBA Game of the Day Cheerleader Preview: Los Angeles Lakers v. Charlotte Bobcats

There are really no quality games on the NBA schedule today. Not a single match-up of two teams with winning records. So we're going with the game that has the big story in the league this week and two of the hottest professional cheer teams in the planet. Sounds like a quality rationale to me.

We all know this is Kobe's first week back, but the real story here for our purposes is that the Laker Girls and the Ladycats are both stacked with high level talent and deserve to praised. Which is basically the whole purpose of this website, right? Looks like an easy call for me to make!

NBA Game of the Day Cheerleader Preview: Houston Rockets v. San Antonio Spurs

It's a pretty weak slate of games in the NBA today, but you do have at least one quality match-up to look forward to down in Texas. So far the San Antonio Spurs only have one loss on their record, and they are just crushing teams. Tonight they get their first shot at in-state rival Houston, who leads the league in scoring per game. Should be a good one!

NBA Game of the Day: Indiana Pacers v. Chicago Bulls

While the NBA's Eastern Conference has been dominated by the Miami Heat lately, there are a couple of teams that are looking to dethrone King James and Co. as the beasts of the East. Two of them are battling head to head today. The Pacers are absolutely off to the right start, but the Bulls are struggling to get their season on the right path. A win over the Pacers could be a step in the right direction.

NBA Game of the Day Cheerleader Preview: LA Clippers v. Houston Rockets

The new look Houston Rockets are riding high so far this season, mainly because Dwight Howard hasn't become a giant pain the ass quite yet. One of their biggest counterparts in the NBA's Western Conference this year should be the Los Angeles Clippers.

This is actually the teams' second meeting already this season, and the Rockets are going to need to at least play a little defense if they don't want to give up another 137 points to the Flying Blake Griffins!

NBA Game of the Day Cheerleader Preview: Memphis Grizzlies v. Dallas Mavericks

The NBA season is finally underway, so that means it's time to get back into the swing of things with the NBA cheerleaders and dancers. Every Saturday we're going to feature the best game of the day and preview it the only way we know how: with cheerleaders. Think of it like our NFL Game of the Week feature.

This week we get started with the Memphis Grizzlies and the Dallas Mavericks. Both teams have their sights set high this season, and an early season battle might give us a little insight into whether one team has the upperhand in the Western Conference.
