Meet the 2014 Washington Kastles Cheerleaders

I've long had an affinity for the Washington Kastles cheerleaders. For one thing, they are the only professional tennis cheerleaders I'm aware of. But more importantly, they are smokin' hot. Exhibit A: our pal Lisa!

This is the 2014 reincarnation of the Kastles cheerleaders, and it is very apparent that it is going to be another great tennis season in the nation's capital!

A lot of us in the Midwest are in the middle of a massive winter storm right now, but my mind keeps drifting to summer and the Washington Kastles cheerleaders. It's got to be about time for the Kastles cheerleaders to start getting ready for the new season. And, hopefully, that means new pictures and the return of our favorite Kastle cheerleader Lisa!

The Washington Kastles cheerleaders are, hands down, the hottest cheerleaders in professional tennis. And it's not just because they are most likely the only cheerleaders in professional tennis. The Kastles cheerleaders are blazing hot regardless of their lack of competition.

And let's be honest, any squad with the remarkable Lisa on it is going to be at the top of their league!

We have profiled the sensation that is the Washington Kastles cheerleaders before, but somehow I've never featured Lisa before. And that is a travesty.

An ex-Washington Redskins cheerleader, Lisa took a unique career path from the NFL sidelines to courtside at the World Team Tennis league matches in DC. It may not be the most conventional route of all time, but I don't think the fans of Washington DC sports are complaining at all. They may miss her at FedExField, but at least they still have the opportunity to see her practice her craft!
