In my mind, CFL Week has been an absolute success! I hope you guys have enjoyed our little trip through the Canadian Football League. I'm sure we've opened some people's eyes to the amount of talent located in our friendly northern neighbor.
But I may have saved the best for last. In my opinion, there are 3 squads fighting for top honors amongst the CFL cheer squads: the Toronto Argonauts, the B.C. Lions and today's feature the Edmonton Eskimos. Honestly I'm scared to make a choice between the three. But I'll let the Eskimos cheerleaders state their case today and see what you guys think.
Dedicated to celebrating the most beautiful professional cheerleaders from around the world.

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers Cheerleaders are Here to Stay
After a mini-scandal (CAUTION: link is probably NSFW!) back in 2008 the Winnipeg Blue Bombers cheerleaders lost their coach and had a pretty good sized (undeserved) black eye. Thank God the girls are back in the saddle and ready for another season of CFL football.
By the looks of things, the Blue Bombers cheerleaders are super athletic and more closely resemble a college cheer squad with lots of stunts and high-flying acrobatics. Obviously something is going right these days in Winnipeg!

Saskatchewan RoughRiders Cheerleaders Get Your CFL Week Saturday Started
We have another CFL Week doubleheader for you today as we wind down our tour of the professional football cheerleaders to our north. Playing in the smallest market in the league, the Saskatchewn RoughRiders have built up a fanbase that rivals that of franchises much larger. Basically they are the Green Bay Packers of the CFL.
But unlike the Green Bay Packers, the RoughRiders actually have a cheer squad. And, in my humble opinion, that makes them even better than the Packers. Because what is a Sunday afternoon of football without cheerleaders?

The B.C. Lions Were the Only Choice for CFL Week's 4th of July Post
I was half way through CFL Week before I realized we would be celebrating a Canadian Football League cheer squad on Independence Day in the states. Whoops!
So I figured the only way to make it right was to highlight what I think is the hottest squad in the CFL as a means of apologizing for going outside of the country on this day of patriotism. But I think once you see how amazingly hot the BC Lions cheerleaders are, you are going to let this little slip up slide!

I Finally Understand the Hamilton Tiger-Cats' Nickname
I never understood why the Tiger-Cats didn't just call themselves the Tigers. Isn't it a bit redundant to be called the Tiger-Cats? Then I did a little research, and it all made perfect sense. The current franchise came about with a merging of two different teams: the Tigers and the Wildcats. That's where Tiger-Cats comes from.
While I still think it would have been easier to go with Tigers or Wildcats, who am I to complain about a good old-fashioned compromise? After all, regardless of their name, we still get the opportunity to see the Ti-Cats cheerleaders in action and that is a very good thing. Without the naming compromise, maybe the franchise would have gone away forever and we would have been robbed of this piece of CFL Week.

The Montreal Alouettes Cheerleaders Bring Diversity to CFL Week
Canada is a massive English-speaking nation with this random French-speaking province thrown right into the mix to keep everyone on their toes. I can't imagine there is any other nation in the world with this kind of set-up.
But today we're embracing that weirdness and thanking the Montreal Alouettes cheerleaders for bringing a little diversity and change of pace to CFL Week! I think we could get into this two language thing.

Calgary Stampeders Cheerleaders Lead Off CFL Week Doubleheader
With 9 teams in the league, we're not going to be to get through all of the teams in one week unless we double up a couple of days. So today we're going to get a double dose of CFL cheerleaders. I have a feeling no one is really going to mind all that much.
Especially when we start our first doubleheader with the Calgary Stampeders' Outriders. We've already asked whether Outrider Dana is the hottest cheerleader in Canada, and I think she has plenty of gorgeous teammates. This could turn out to be a really good day!

CFL Week Continues on With the Ottawa RedBlacks
We started CFL Week yesterday with one of the most storied franchises in the league, so it's only appropriate to continue the party with the newest franchise in the league. Though there has been a CFL team in Ottawa almost continually since 1958, the RedBlacks are playing their inaugural season this year.
Even though they haven't taken the field for a regular season game yet, the RedBlacks cheerleaders already seem to challenge for the top spot in the CFL cheerleader rankings (that don't actually exist yet!). Here's hoping to a long & storied history for the RedBlacks and their cheerleaders.
