This damn NHL lockout is starting to get old. Do the powers that be not realize there are a ton of gorgeous ladies just waiting to lace up their skates and hit the ice to entertain us? What are these girls supposed to be doing right now? You can only practice for so long.

As a form of protest I am going to continue to post the hottest ladies of the NHL in order to bring everyone's attention to the travesty that is occurring right under our noses. Which brings me to today's fabulous lady of the ice: Edmonton Oilers Octane girl Kyla.

Kyla is trying to start her 3rd season with the Octane, but that just isn't happening yet. All she wants to do is get back on the ice and cheer on her beloved Oilers. For the love of Kyla, end the lockout now!

This is just a tease of more to come in the near future, but I thought I should celebrate the NHL's first Canadian cheer team (though they have been around for a bit by now). Love to see this trend spilling across the border!

I wish I watched more hockey. I really do love the game, but I never really sit down to watch it. Maybe if more teams had cheerleaders like the Edmonton Oilers girls I would have a much more vested interest!
