Meet the Cheerleaders of Super Bowl XLIX

Later tonight the Seattle Seahawks will look to be the first repeat Super Bowl champions since, wait for it, the New England Patriots did it back in 2005. It seems pretty poetic that those same Patriots get the opportunity to protect their place in NFL history. And isn't that what pro football is all about: poetry?

While some people will be focused on the game and more people will be focused on the commercials, my eyes will be scanning the sidelines for cheerleaders. Because that's our whole reason for being. And to prepare you for your own sideline scanning, here are a few of the gorgeous ladies you should be looking for!

Super Bowl XLVIII Cheerleader Preview: Seattle Seahawks Edition

I'm rooting for the Seahawks to win today, and it's only partly about the Seahawks cheerleaders! I just like this team and how they play. I like Richard Sherman. Any fan that tells you they wouldn't take Sherman on their team is absolutely lying!

Sherman better come up big today, too. He's facing an absolute gun-slinger on the other side of the ball, and you know he's not going to shy away from throwing to Sherman's side of the field.

So here are 10 pictures of Seattle's finest to prepare you for today's battle of the Super Bowl Cheerleaders. No matter the score, I hope we get plenty of shots of BOTH sidelines!

Super Bowl XLVIII Cheerleader Preview: Denver Broncos Edition

Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos hit the field tonight with a ton of momentum and a growing anti-Richard Sherman fanbase behind them. As if Peyton Manning didn't already bring enough fans to the table. But don't count me as one of those fans. I'm a lifetime Kansas City Chiefs fan, so there is no way I can root for the Donkeys tonight.

The only reason I would even consider cheering for Denver tonight is because I am in love with the Denver Broncos cheerleaders! Honestly, what's not to love? They're all gorgeous, of course. Then they throw on a cowboy hat and/or chaps and I'm just smitten. Not smitten enough to root for their team, but smitten all the same!

Sure the Super Bowl was like 2 weeks ago. Who cares? When you find pictures of cheerleaders celebrating their team winning the biggest game of the year, you post them. No questions asked. See if you can spot our some of our favorites in the group pic. I see both Serena & Lindsay.

And then we add in the fact that we have 4 pictures of a Ravens cheerleader doing some impressive arials to make things even better. I may not have been rooting for the Ravens during the game, but I was certainly on the look out for the Ravens cheerleaders the whole time.

San Francisco 49ers' Cheerleader Ali Is Taking Over New Orleans

So yesterday I featured a Baltimore Ravens cheerleader named Lindsay that just might the hottest cheerleader in the NFL. But in the name of fairness, I figured I should follow up today with a San Francisco 49ers cheerleader that could at least give Lindsay a run for her money.

So this is Ali. I don't have nearly as many pictures of Ali as I did of Lindsay (and I don't even have a single bikini shot), but that doesn't mean she isn't hot. The pics in the 80s-inspired shiny pants & cut-off sweatshirt are tremendous.

So I leave it to you. Which cheerleader are you rooting for this weekend?

Baltimore Ravens' Cheerleader Lindsay Ready for the Super Bowl

While the big cheerleader story of the Super Bowl is Ravens' cheerleader Courtney Lenz getting left at home, we'd rather focus on the cheerleaders that are going to be in New Orleans. Like Courtney's teammate Lindsay.

A 3 year veteran, Lindsay is a full time student working on a degree to become a dental hygienist. That must be why she has such pearly whites! Now she gets to flash that championship smile for the whole world to see at the Super Bowl. So keep your eyes peeled, folks, because have a feeling we're going to see Lindsay in plenty of sideline shots on Sunday!
