This isn't the first time the Philadelphia 76ers have been featured on Pro Cheerleader Heaven for Cheer Selfie Saturday, but it is the first time our pal Jessica has been around for a long time. That's reason enough to celebrate in my book!

Cheer Selfie Saturday: Philadelphia 76ers Edition

Who gives a damn how bad the basketball team in Philadelphia is. With cheerleaders this hot flanking the baseline, is anyone actually watching the game anyway.

The 76ers Finally Won a Game!!!

It finally happened. I'll be honest, I wasn't sure if they were ever going to win a game, but somehow the Philadelphia 76ers found a team that was playing worse than them last night. So instead of being 0-18 today, the Sixers are a demonstrably better 1-17.

Maybe this is the beginning of an epic run to the playoffs. I sure hope so, because I really need some reasons to feature our pal Jessica and her Sixers Dancer teammates this winter!

The Philadelphia 76ers are Going to Be Terrible Again, Right?

I've just gotten so used to the Philadelphia 76ers being terrible lately, that I consider it a foregone conclusion at this point. The problem with the team being so terrible is that I have fewer reasons to highlight their dancers: the Dream Team.

So just in case I'm right, here is a preseason view of the Dream Team!

Philadelphia 76ers Cheerleader Jessica

Philadelphia 76ers dancer Jessica just finished up her rookie season with the Dream Team. As an 18 year old fresh out of Cab Calloway School of the Arts, Jessica was the youngest member of the squad this year. I'd have to imagine she was probably the youngest dancer in the entire league.

Jessica spends her time away from Wells Fargo Arena coaching a high school dance squad, hitting the gym and pogo sticking. I didn't know they still made pogo sticks, but apparently Jessica is all about them. She hopes to start up a fashion line some day, and has been trying her hand at modelling, acting and radio hosting lately. So, you are going to start seeing (or hearing) her all of the place in no time at all!

Oh, and did I mention she has a twin sister? And that her twin sister is on the club cheer squad at the University of Alabama? That right folks, we've got our first cross-promotional cheerleader twins! We've featured twins before, but never one that was pro and one that was college. Philadelphia 76ers Cheerleaders Don't Get Enough Publicity

I'm certainly guilty of this too, but I think the amount of publicity the Philadelphia 76ers cheerleaders get is criminally low. I'm just going to have to get better on my end of things. That's a promise!

Has there ever been a more appropriate name for professional cheer squad than the Philadelphia 76ers Dream Team? It's just the perfect moniker for a team full of smoking hot, crazy athletic dancers. Well played Philly, well played indeed!

The NBA season about to get started for real, so I need to get some more NBA dancers on here. Which is why you are meeting 76ers Dream Team dancer Sabella today. I'm not sure Sabella is on the new Dream Team squad, but that's unimportant.
