NFL Game of the Week Cheerleader Preview: Indianapolis Colts v. Dallas Cowboys

There are a handful of decent games on today's slate, but I went this one as our Game of the Week just because it is a really good cross-conference game late in the season. I like these cross-conference games because they add quality intrigue to the season.

Plus this lets us feature two of the hottest cheer squads in the NFL at least one more time. Sure both of these teams should be in the playoffs, but that's not the point. Any time I get to talk about the Colts cheerleaders and the world famous Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders, I'm going to take that chance.

NFL Game of the Week Cheerleader Preview: Dallas Cowboys v. Philadelphia Eagles

I realize this game was our Game of the Week on Thanksgiving, but I don't care. This is still the best match-up of the week with both teams sitting at 9-4 and tied for the top spot in the NFC East. I, for one, am glad to see this rivalry regain some of the steam it had lost over the last few years.

Plus, highlighting this game again gives me another chance to talk about 2 of my favorite NFL cheer squads. We all know the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders are remarkable, but the Philadelphia Eagles cheerleaders are no slouches themselves. Which is why they checked in at #15 in our 2nd Annual Ranking of the Hottest NFL Cheer Squads!

NFL Game of the Week Cheerleader Preview: New England Patriots v. San Diego Chargers

I'll be honest, I didn't know the San Diego Chargers were 8-4 this season. Somehow they have slipped under the radar in the AFC so far. Maybe it's because they play in the same division as the Broncos, but I would think more people would be talking about them at this point.

The New England Patriots, on the other hand, are squarely in the middle of the radar. And for damn good reason. They are possibly the hottest team in the league right now, so traveling to San Diego for a big time AFC match-up probably isn't going to ruffle their feathers much.

Speaking of ruffling feathers, how about these 2 cheer squads? They should really get you going this Sunday morning!

NFL Game of the Week Cheerleader Preview: Oakland Raiders v. St. Louis Rams

Before you rush to judgment about my Game of the Week selection, just hear me out. There are some decent NFL games today, but I felt like switching things up a little bit. So I went out on a limb and picked a couple of teams that have struggled all year but recently beat some very good teams.

Somehow the Rams beat the Denver Broncos 2 weeks ago, and the Raiders followed that up by winning their first game of the season against arch rival Kansas City. So I felt like both squads deserved a little recognition.

NFL Game of the Week Cheerleader Preview: Philadelphia Eagles v. Dallas Cowboys

Are there many things better than Thanksgiving Day football? Nope, not really. And then we get a high level game on top of it. Hell yes. That is why it's a special Game of the Week.

Not only do we get a match-up of 8-3 teams in today's late afternoon game, we also get a couple of Top 15 cheer squads according to our 2nd Annual Ranking of the Top 15 NFL Cheer Squads. The Eagles cheerleaders may have rounded out the list at #15, but they still made the list.

Of course the Cowboys cheerleaders clocked in at #4, but we all expected that one. Hard to discount a world-renowned squad.

NFL Game of the Week Cheerleader Preview: Detroit Lions v. New England Patriots

There are some decent games on the schedule this week, but the one that excites me the most is cross-conference battle between the Detroit Lions and the New England Patriots. The Pats are the hottest team in the league right now, and I'm not sure anyone can stop them at this point. That being said, the Lions are pretty strong this year, especially on the defensive side of the ball.

More importantly, this game gives me another opportunity to implore the Lions ownership to fully recognize the Detroit Pride cheerleaders while also featuring one of the more unheralded cheer squads in the league up in Foxboro. Best of both worlds for me.

NFL Game of the Week Cheerleader Preview: Seattle Seahawks v. Kansas City Chiefs

There are plenty of high level games on the NFL schedule this weekend, but we're going with the Seattle Seahawks traveling to the heartland to take on one of the hottest teams in the league. I think we all expected the defending champ to be here, but the Kansas City Chiefs are a little more of a surprise.

On a more important note, we have a game featuring a couple of great cheer squads. Which is probably the biggest part of being crowned the Game of the Week!

NFL Game of the Week Cheerleader Preview: Miami Dolphins v. Detroit Lions

Any chance I get to feature the Miami Dolphins cheerleaders, I am going to take it. And since they are matched up in one of the few games of the week featuring two teams with winning records, I think they are a shoe-in for Game of the Week.

Plus we get to put in another plug for the Detroit Lions ownership to formally recognize the Detroit Pride cheerleaders. These girls are working hard for your team, just make them official already!

NFL Game of the Week Cheerleader Preview: Arizona Cardinals v. Dallas Cowboys

Everyone looked at the schedule when it first came out and circled this as a game to watch, right? We all knew the Cardinals and Cowboys were going to be two of the five teams with six wins at this point in the season. At least that's what we can tell ourselves.

The most important part of all of this is the chance to see even more of the Arizona Cardinals cheerleaders that we haven't heard much about in the last few years. We know all about the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders, of course, but it never hurts to get reacquainted!

NFL Game of the Week Cheerleader Preview: Philadelphia Eagles v. Arizona Cardinals

I love fact that the Arizona Cardinals are relevant this year. I don't have any real connection to the team, but I think it's nice to talk about a new team for once. Plus, I don't dislike learning more about their cheerleaders!

I'm also on board with Chip Kelly and the Eagles this year. I like what they bring to the table offensively. They're exciting to watch. And their aren't so bad either!

NFL Game of the Week Cheerleader Preview: San Francisco 49ers v. Denver Broncos

Yes, I realize this is the 3rd time the Denver Broncos have appeared in our Game of the Week feature already this year. But that's not really my fault. There just aren't many games that feature two teams with winning records and awesome cheer squads. What am I supposed to do?

On the bright side, this is the first appearance by the San Francisco 49ers since last years NFC Championship Game, so at least there is a little new blood today! Niners pics are courtesy of SavoryMutt.

NFL Game of the Week Cheerleader Preview: Dallas Cowboys v. Seattle Seahawks

This is the second week in a row that the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders are going to be represented in the Game of the Week Cheerleader Preview. While I try to avoid such repeats, I have a feeling that people aren't going to be too worried about seeing the most iconic professional cheerleader squad in the world 2 weeks in a row.

But this isn't a case of the Cowboys cheerleaders clearly outshining their rival. In fact, the Seattle Seahawks cheerleaders were only a couple of spots behind the Cowboys in our most recent 15 Hottest NFL Cheer Squads rankings. Looks like someone is sneaking up on the perennial  powerhouses!

NFL Game of the Week Cheerleader Preview: Houston Texans v. Dallas Cowboys

We've got a serious Battle for Texas going on in our NFL Game of the Week Cheerleader Preview today. The Houston Texans are apparently good again (at least on defense) and the Cowboys haven't completely imploded yet, so I figured we might as well highlight this game while we can.

Of course, the fact that we also get to talk about 2 of the 4 hottest squads in the league doesn't hurt either. Anytime I can talk about this dynamic duo of gorgeous women I'm going to jump all over it!
