The Cronulla Sharks Mermaids are Back!

Just over a year ago we discovered the Cronulla Sharks Mermaid dancers and introduced them to our readers outside of Australia (which, let's be honest, is probably all of our readers). We've only traveled back to the land down under once since then (to meet the Perinth Panthers cheerleaders and their patent leather uniforms), so I thought it was time for a return visit.

And wouldn't you know it, the Mermaids are still smokin' hot!!!!

The Penrith Panthers Rugby Cheerleaders Are Freakin' Hot!

I'm just going to go ahead and say it out loud: not enough American pro cheer squads rock the full body patent leather outfits. It's a crowd pleaser, and the Penrith Panthers cheerleaders know it. Maybe it's a rugby cheerleader thing.

I Just Discovered the Cronulla Sharks Cheerleaders

Admittedly I don't watch a ton of rugby, and I really know next to nothing about the sport. But I'm always on the hunt for new and exciting cheer squads, so that is how I happened upon the Cronulla Sharks and their cheerleaders the Mermaids.

Ummm, if Australia wasn't already on your short list of places to visit before you die, then I think this post might just shoot it to the top of your list.

Melbourne Storm Rugby Cheerleaders

We don't get enough cheerleaders from Down Under around here these days. We used to do a Foreign Cheerleader Friday feature, but it became too much work hunting them down. Then somebody (mis)posted these Melbourne Storm rugby cheerleaders to the College Cheerleaders subreddit, and I quickly remembered why Foreign Cheerleader Friday was such a big hit.

Philly Fight Vixens' Cait

So I'm guessing you have never heard of the Philadelphia Fight rugby squad. Which means you've also probably never heard of their dance team the Fight Vixens. Which is a bit of a shame, honestly. But thankfully you follow the greatest professional cheerleader blog on the planet whose #1 mission is finding the hottest cheerleaders in the most obscure sports leagues in the world.

Which is how we found Cait. Actually, Cait found us and sent a friend request to our Facebook page, but that's not important. What is important is the fact that Cait is a damn cute blonde rugby cheerleader that wants you to know about her dance squad and her teammates. So do Cait a solid and head over the Fight Vixens' Facebook Page and give them a Like. It's the friendly thing to do, after all!

Sexy Rugby Cheerleaders

I've never actually been to a rugby match (at least I think they are called matches), but I'd really like to go some time. And now that I know they have cheerleaders, I'm definitely going some time soon!

Rugby Cheerleaders In Unitards

I kinda wish more American pro cheerleading squads would rock the unitard. The jacket has to go, though. There is just no place for that in cheerleading!

UPDATE** What I can only assume is an Australian reader let us know these girls cheer for the Melbourne Storm of the National Rugby Leauge down under.

Foreign Cheerleader Friday -- Australian Rugby Cheerleaders

I can' seem to figure out the rules to rugby, but I still like it. Big dudes smashing into each other, funky cool helmets and scrums. What's not to like? And that was before I knew there were cheerleaders. Hot cheerleaders to boot. Of course, Australia seems to be overflowing with hotties, so this really shouldn't have been a surprise.
