My love for the Charlotte Bobcats dancers is very well known, so I was thrilled when the SI Cheerleader of the Week train rolled back into the Queen City to feature LauRen. You can just never go wrong with a feature of the LadyCats!

We haven't posted any of the Charlotte Bobcats LadyCats since we featured Laken back at the end of January. I think 2 months without any LadyCats is plenty long enough!

Charlotte Bobcats' Dancer Laken is a CrossFit Fanatic

I see people all over Facebook and Twitter talking about CrossFit all the time, but I just can't take the plunge. Honestly, it looks damn intimidating, and I don't want to look like an idiot in front of someone as hot as Laken. Though the odds of there being someone as hot as Laken in my CrossFit class has got to be like 1 in a million, right?

The rookie Lady Cat and Liberty University graduate used to cheer for the Carolina Panthers before making the jump to the best dance team in the NBA this season. She wants to remain a Lady Cat for as long as they let her, so here's hoping the powers that be make that happen for loooooooong time. Of course, once her Lady Cat career comes to end, she can always fall back to her day job as an optician.

Charlotte Bobcats' Twin Cheerleaders Kristen & Kirsten Hit the SI Cheerleader of the Week Radar

Any time you have a set of twins cheering for a major league professional cheer squad, they are eventually going to land on the radar of the Internet big wigs. And that is exactly what has finally happened for twin sisters Kristen & Kirsten. The Charlotte Bobcats Lady Cats have finally hit the big time with their very own SI Cheerleader of the Week feature.

And it's about time. I've been a fan of these lovely ladies since they were cheering for the Atlanta Hawks!

NBA Game of the Day Cheerleader Preview: Los Angeles Lakers v. Charlotte Bobcats

There are really no quality games on the NBA schedule today. Not a single match-up of two teams with winning records. So we're going with the game that has the big story in the league this week and two of the hottest professional cheer teams in the planet. Sounds like a quality rationale to me.

We all know this is Kobe's first week back, but the real story here for our purposes is that the Laker Girls and the Ladycats are both stacked with high level talent and deserve to praised. Which is basically the whole purpose of this website, right? Looks like an easy call for me to make!

1ST Annual NBA Cheerleader Power Rankings

The NBA season officially gets under way tonight when the Orlando Magic tip off against the Indiana Pacers. We also get the 2-time defending champion Miami Heat hosting the Chicago Bulls tonight.

Meet the 2013-2014 Charlotte Bobcats Ladycats!

Last night the Charlotte Bobcats announced their 2013-2014 Ladycats line-up. And I have to say, it looks to be another stellar squad. I've long argued that the Ladycats were the most underrated squad in all of professional sports, so it's certainly no surprise to me.

You might notice one notable absentee from the list, however. Ladycat Lindsay has finally called it quits after rocking the Charlotte hardwood for the last 5 years. She is certainly going to be missed.

At some point this season the Charlotte Bobcats Ladycats rewound things about 30 years, broke out the spandex and cutoff sweatshirts, and rocked a sweet 80s-themed dance. Luckily our pal photoartofTEC was there to snag as a few pictures!

I know I've been on a bit of a Phoenix Suns Dancers kick lately (especially on Facebook), but I will never forget my first true NBA cheerleader love: the Charlotte Bobcats Ladycats!
