It's Never a Bad Idea to Feature the Dallas Mavericks Dancers

There are a lot of reasons to highlight a team here on Pro Cheerleader Heaven. We could be celebrating a championship or the release of a brand new bikini calendar. Or maybe they just rocked some epic Halloween costumes on the field.

But for some squads, you don't need a special reason. The Dallas Mavericks dancers just happen to be one of those squads. Honestly, it wouldn't be a terrible idea to commit one day every week to these lovely ladies. But until that day comes, you'll just have to be happy with this great set of pictures!

Sydney Durso is a Dallas Area Pro Cheerleader Celebrity

Many of you know the name Sydney Durso well. She was a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader for seven seasons, and when you spend that long on the most famous cheer squad in the world people get to know you.

But know Sydney has moved on from the Cowboys cheerleaders and started a brand new pro cheer career. And we felt like there was no better way to highlight her new path than a Cheer Selfie Saturday post. So here is Sydney in her new digs as a Dallas Mavericks dancer!

I Feel Bad for the Dallas Mavericks, So They Get Their Cheer Selfie Saturday Debut!

Deandre Jordan absolutely did the Dallas Mavericks dirty this week. Sure it created the greatest emoji war in the history of emoji wars, but that's not the point. In the end the Mavs were out-emojied by the Clippers and Jordan is staying in Southern Cali.

But you have to feel bad for the Mavs and their fans. Which is exactly why I thought today was the perfect time for the Mavs Dancers to make their Cheer Selfie Saturday debut. Because nothing lifts the spirits of a down-trodden fanbase like a cheer selfie!

Check Out Former Dallas Mavericks Dancer Grace

For some reason I've had these pictures of former Dallas Mavericks dancer Grace sitting unused on my hard drive for well over a year. Hell, Grace hasn't even been on the squad since the 2012-2013 NBA season, but she can wear the hell out of a bikini!

So I figured it was about time to share these with the world. Because as much as we love the gorgeous women that are currently cheering & dancing their hearts out for us day in and day out, we still have a soft spot for the alums! I wonder where Grace is now.

I Love the Dallas Mavericks Dancers

I really don't follow the NBA as closely as I should, but I do follow the cheerleaders & dancers of the NBA about as closely as anybody. In my studies (that's what I'm calling it, anyway) I have developed a bit of an affinity for the Dallas Mavericks dancers.

I don't know if it's the uniforms, the hair or what, but I love them. And you should too!

Phoenix Suns v. Dallas Mavericks Tonight -- #1 v. #2 in NBA Cheerleader Power Rankings

Finally, the top 2 teams in our NBA Cheerleader Power Rankings are squaring off on the court, so we get to match them up here on Pro Cheerleader Heaven. Sounds like the best possible kind of NBA post to me.

Both teams have good records so far this year, so we might be featuring them a lot during the rest of the season. But I couldn't pass up a chance to highlight a battle between the two hottest dance squads in the league. This is just too good!

2nd Annual NBA Cheerleader Power Rankings

The NBA season finally kicks off for real tonight, so we just had to update our NBA Cheerleader Power Rankings. Honestly, it seemed like the only appropriate thing to do. And this year's version of the Power Rankings has a ton of changes. We have 5 brand new squads in the rankings this year. That's a full third of the list.

Plus, we have a new squad at the top of the list. While the Phoenix Suns dancers have certainly done nothing to take away from last year's title, I felt like it was time for a new champ. Fortunately for you West Coasters, we stayed in the Western Conference with the crown!

The NBA cannot tip off soon enough, in my opinion. Not because I give a crap about basketball, but because I'm ready to see the Dallas Mavericks Dancers back on the floor where they belong!
