Check Out the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Western Wear

Like a lot pro cheer squads, the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders hold an event every year to announce their roster for the year. And since they are the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders, it's a pretty big deal. There are performances and introductions and special uniforms.

This year the Cowboys cheerleaders went with a western wear theme (you know, cowboy hats and boots) for their Meet the Team event. May not be the most original theme for a squad from Texas, but after checking out the pictures I don't think you are going to mind the lack of creativity!

Denver Broncos Cheerleader Sam Brings Her Spunk to Sports Illustrated

I am a sucker for girls with really short hair. I know most guys tend to like long hair for some reason, but I think a girl that can pull off a really short hair cut is a special kind of sexy. Which is exactly why I've always been such a big fan of Denver Broncos cheerleader Sam. She can ABSOLUTELY pull off her short hair cut.

And now the good folks at Sports Illustrated have discovered Sam and rewarded her with her very own Cheerleader of the Week feature. It's about time we let someone represent for the short-haired girls!

Super Bowl XLVIII Cheerleader Preview: Denver Broncos Edition

Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos hit the field tonight with a ton of momentum and a growing anti-Richard Sherman fanbase behind them. As if Peyton Manning didn't already bring enough fans to the table. But don't count me as one of those fans. I'm a lifetime Kansas City Chiefs fan, so there is no way I can root for the Donkeys tonight.

The only reason I would even consider cheering for Denver tonight is because I am in love with the Denver Broncos cheerleaders! Honestly, what's not to love? They're all gorgeous, of course. Then they throw on a cowboy hat and/or chaps and I'm just smitten. Not smitten enough to root for their team, but smitten all the same!

SI Cheerleader of the Week: Arizona Rattlers' Alexandra

The folks that run the SI Cheerleader of the Week feature took a bit of a detour to the Arena League this week to feature Arizona Rattlers' cheerleader Alexandra. Personally, I think they made a wonderful decision. I've had pictures of Alexandra here on Pro Cheerleader Heaven in the past (here for instance), and I think she is a knockout!

Washington Wizards' Girls Co-Captain Brittney

In only her 2nd year on the squad, Brittney has worked her way into the role of co-captain of the Washington Wizards dance crew. That is some kind of meteoric rise to the top if you ask me. Of course, with her background with the Washington Nationals Nat Pack, she had a leg up on the competition already.

Brittney also had a chance to travel to China this summer with some of the other Wizards Girls to spread good cheer and joy on behalf of the NBA. I'm thinking they made a good choice sending Brittney. Because if she can't put a smile on your face, no one can. Maybe she'll be the key to solving all our future disputes with the Chinese!

Natalie Hangs Out With Kanye West!

It's not common that you see a professional cheerleader switch teams within the same league. Especially when that league is the NFL. I'm sure it happens, but it's a pretty rare feat.

It's even more rare when that cheerleader is absolutely smokin' hot. But today we have just such a cheerleader. Natalie has cheered for both the Houston Texans and the Tennessee Titans. Those are not easy squads to make, either.

It appears that Natalie is currently a free agent, so any team looking to bolster its squad with the late addition of a true NFL veteran better get on the horn fast. I can't see Natalie sitting on the sidelines too much longer. At least I hope not! Otherwise she might fall under Kanye's spell and never make back out!
