The Houston Rockets Power Dancers Can Sign Some Autographs

Since we are about to be knee deep in NFL cheerleaders around here, I thought I would try to spread the love a little bit today. So we're stepping away from football for the day and heading over the NBA. Though we're not straying too far from yesterday's post since we're actually staying in the same city.

But that's only because I feel like we really need a dose of the Houston Rockets Power Dancers before coverage of the NFL season takes over. Hell, the pictures are even from the same source as yesterday. After all, Scott does a hell of job, so I don't see a real need to fix what ain't broke!

Happy Birthday to Houston Rockets Power Dancer Paige!

Help us wish Houston Rockets Power Dancer Paige a very happy birthday!

Houston Rockets Dancers Honor the Military

Continuing yesterday's Veteran's Day theme, the Houston Rockets dancers broke out their military-inspired outfits the other day. Yep, those are definitely keepers!

2nd Annual NBA Cheerleader Power Rankings

The NBA season finally kicks off for real tonight, so we just had to update our NBA Cheerleader Power Rankings. Honestly, it seemed like the only appropriate thing to do. And this year's version of the Power Rankings has a ton of changes. We have 5 brand new squads in the rankings this year. That's a full third of the list.

Plus, we have a new squad at the top of the list. While the Phoenix Suns dancers have certainly done nothing to take away from last year's title, I felt like it was time for a new champ. Fortunately for you West Coasters, we stayed in the Western Conference with the crown!

Houston Rockets Power Dancers Tryouts

As we mentioned on our Facebook page yesterday, it's time to vote for the lovely ladies you want to see as Houston Rockets Power Dancers next. There are quite a few of our Pro Cheerleader Heaven friends vying for a spot as a Power Dancer (like Taryn and one of the Warnell twins), so we are very interested in the outcome of the vote.

So check out these behind the scenes shots from the tryouts courtesy of our pal sobyrne99, and then hit up the Rockets website and find out how to vote for your favorites!

NBA Game of the Day Cheerleader Preview: Detroit Pistons v. Houston Rockets

Another weekend, another dearth of compelling NBA games. It's almost as if the league trying to ruin my Game of the Day feature. That's some conspiracy theory stuff right there.

So we're going with a game the features a couple of cheer squads that I like. Who really cares about the game on the court anyway. We should all be much more interested in the Detroit Pistons Dancers and the Houston Rockets Power Dancers.

NBA Game of the Day Cheerleader Preview: Houston Rockets v. San Antonio Spurs

It's a pretty weak slate of games in the NBA today, but you do have at least one quality match-up to look forward to down in Texas. So far the San Antonio Spurs only have one loss on their record, and they are just crushing teams. Tonight they get their first shot at in-state rival Houston, who leads the league in scoring per game. Should be a good one!

NBA Game of the Day Cheerleader Preview: LA Clippers v. Houston Rockets

The new look Houston Rockets are riding high so far this season, mainly because Dwight Howard hasn't become a giant pain the ass quite yet. One of their biggest counterparts in the NBA's Western Conference this year should be the Los Angeles Clippers.

This is actually the teams' second meeting already this season, and the Rockets are going to need to at least play a little defense if they don't want to give up another 137 points to the Flying Blake Griffins!

Houston Rockets Cheerleader Morgan is the New SI Cheerleader of the Week

Once again, the folks over at Sports Illustrated hit it out of the park with this week's Cheerleader of the Week. Not only did they find another gorgeous professional cheerleader, but this one has some crazy aerial skills. I think I like this trend of more pro cheer squads performing actual stunts and tricks.

Not to mention the fact that Morgan is a Show-Me Stater that attended Missouri State University. Mark another one in the win column for the SI Cheerleader of the Week.

See Morgan's entire feature right here.

Houston Rockets Cheerleaders Class Up An Auto Show

Going to an auto show has as much appeal for as an all-you-can-buffet does for an anorexic. I would be bored to tears within 5 minutes. Unless, of course, there were cheerleaders involved. Which makes this Houston auto show worth my time. Kudos to whoever decided to bring some Houston Rockets cheerleaders along for the ride!

Thanks to grooverman for the pics!

Looks like a trip to Houston should be added to the list!

Houston Rockets Cheerleaders At A Parade

This may have been at a Thanksgiving Day parade, but I honestly have no idea.
