San Diego Chargers Girls Selfies

We introduce Cheer Selfie Saturday last week on College Cheer Heaven, but since there were NFL playoffs game last Saturday we did our game previews here instead. That changes today.

I figured we needed to start things right, so our initial Cheer Selfie Saturday on Pro Cheer Heaven is a whole series of selfies from the San Diego Chargers cheerleaders. I think this feature is going to be VERY successful!

NFL Game of the Week Cheerleader Preview: New England Patriots v. San Diego Chargers

I'll be honest, I didn't know the San Diego Chargers were 8-4 this season. Somehow they have slipped under the radar in the AFC so far. Maybe it's because they play in the same division as the Broncos, but I would think more people would be talking about them at this point.

The New England Patriots, on the other hand, are squarely in the middle of the radar. And for damn good reason. They are possibly the hottest team in the league right now, so traveling to San Diego for a big time AFC match-up probably isn't going to ruffle their feathers much.

Speaking of ruffling feathers, how about these 2 cheer squads? They should really get you going this Sunday morning!

2nd Annual Ranking of the 15 Hottest NFL Cheer Squads

Last year we unveiled our first ever cheerleader rankings with our 15 Hottest NFL Cheer Squads list. The Miami Dolphins cheerleaders topped last year's list, but the top spot has been usurped by social media darlings: the Houston Texans. This has the makings of an epic rivalry because we all know that these squads are working very hard to snatch the top spot in Pro Cheerleader Heaven's rankings.

The Denver Broncos cheerleaders made the biggest jump of the year as they slide into the Top 5 from their #15 ranking last year. We also have three new entries with the Philadelphia Eagles, St. Louis Rams and Tennessee Titans all making their debuts in the countdown.

So take a look at my ranking and let me know what I got right and what I got wrong. I'm sure you all have opinions! You can also click on each team's name to see more pictures of these smokin' hot squads!

I've already posted some pictures from the 2014 Pro Bowl, but I just can't get enough. I love the fact that every squad sends a representative to Hawaii for the game. For me, it adds a little excitement to an otherwise lackluster event!

San Diego Chargers Cheerleaders Military Appreciation Uniforms

There aren't many better ways to honor the men and women of the Armed Forces than by dressing up a professional cheer squad in military-style cheerleader uniforms. Lucky for us, the San Diego Chargers cheerleaders are well aware of this!

The NFL Pro Bowl From a Cheerleader's Perspective

The reaction to yesterday's Pro Bowl has been a little mixed, but I think people were at least a little more interested than in years past. Regardless, it's still a meaningless exhibition that I can't get excited about.

Except for the cheerleader part. Because the Pro Bowl is an excuse to collect one cheerleader from every NFL cheer squad, send them to Hawaii and set them loose on paradise. That always makes for a ton of great pictures floating around the interwebs so we can see just how the other half lives!

NFL Playoff Cheerleader Preview: San Diego Chargers v. Denver Broncos

Who would have expected the San Diego Chargers to be one game from the AFC Championship Game just a handful of weeks ago? Hell, they are one missed field goal away from not even making the playoffs in the first place. But now they are playing like gangbusters and have become a tough out.

But you know who is good at taking out those kinds of teams: the Denver Broncos. Say what you want about Peyton Manning not winning the big one, but this guy knows how to stop a team that has all the momentum. And I think he does it again this weekend.
