The Florida Panthers Are Disbanding the Lady Panthers!

THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE TRAVESTY!!!!! Apparently the Florida Panthers higher-ups are trying to prove once again why they are one of the most poorly run franchises in pro sports. As a team that has only made the playoffs once since the 2001-2002 season, the Panthers haven't really been giving their fans much to be excited about lately. Except for the Lady Panthers.

We ranked the Lady Panthers as the top ranked NHL Ice Girls squad just prior to the 2013-2014 season. They weren't just an extra incentive for Panthers fans to attend games. They were probably the best reason for fans to attend games. You don't just disband the hottest ice girls squad in the league. That's crazy talk.

I'm hoping this is a miserable failure for the Panthers, and they realize the error of the ways sooner rather than later. For our part, we're going to try to keep the spirit of the Lady Panthers alive until they are resurrected! Plus, there is a change.org petition circulating too!

Happy St. Patrick's Day from the Florida Panthers Lady Panthers

The Lady Panthers are all geared up for St. Patrick's Day today. And you should be too now!

Behind the Scenes of a Recent Florida Panthers Lady Panthers Photoshoot

I don't try to hide my love for the Florida Panthers Lady Panthers at all here on Pro Cheerleader Heaven, and I don't feel like I should. After all, what's wrong with being in love with a team of gorgeous women cheering on one of the worst teams in the NHL?

It is their fault, really. If they didn't insist on posting so many pictures of themselves on the web, then I wouldn't be in this predicament. Alas, they've done it to me again. This are all behind the scenes shots of their most recent photoshoot. With behind the scenes shots this good, I can only imagine what the real thing is going to look like!

Of Course the Florida Panthers' Lady Panthers Do Yoga Together

I'm not sure I expected anything different from the Lady Panthers. They're not the Hottest NHL Ice Girls Squad for nothing, folks!

Happy Valentine's Day Wishes From Across the Pro Cheerleader World

A bunch of different pro cheer squads have been wishing their fans a happy Valentine's Day across the interwebs. From the NHL to the NBA to the NFL, we've been getting great stuff all over the place! We felt like it was our duty to share those wishes with you!

Florida Panthers Bikini Calendar Release Party

I think we all know just how amazing the Florida Panthers Lady Panthers are, right? It's just not fair how much talent they have to work with. So, when they threw a party to release their 2014 bikini calendar and had a catwalk as a part of the festivities, you just knew the pictures were going to be wonderful.

They did not disappoint!

Christmas Around the Professional Cheerleader World

Cheerleaders across all the major sports that are playing right now really went all out this Christmas. So we thought it would be nice to bring you some of the best NBA, NFL & NHL cheerleaders and their Christmas-themed outfits from the past couple of weeks!

I'm Just Going to Leave This Florida Panthers Ice Girls Bikini Pics Right Here!

Nothing much to see here. Just three of the hottest ice girls in the NHL rocking their Florida Panthers bikinis, including our pal Paige!

Florida Panthers' Lady Panther Heather Has A Nasty Guillotine Choke

It's not often that you run across a professional cheerleader that is beautiful, smart and has trained BJJ with Team Nogueira. But that is exactly what we have with Florida Panthers' Lady Panther Heather!

The beautiful part was a given. You don't get to be a member of the Hottest NHL Ice Girls Squad if you're not hot. How would that even work? So, of course, we knew that Heather was gorgeous.

Then we find out she is currently a junior at St. Thomas University studying biology & pre-med. Heather plans on being a doctor once she graduates, but she can't decide if she wants to be a pediatrician or a plastic surgeon. Oh the dilemmas faced by the smarty pants crowd.

After all of that, she drops the bomb that she used to train with Team Nogueira and has trained in everything from kickboxing to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to Shaolin Kempo. Holy crap! If that's not the sexiest thing you've heard today then I'm jealous!

So if you're in Miami this hockey season, make sure to stop & check out a Panthers game. Just don't get too handsy with the Lady Panthers or Heather might have to throw a Kimura on your ass. Though there are worse ways to have your arm ripped off!

Florida Panthers Ice Girls Hanging With Some Miami Heat Dancers

I'm going to be honest, I really debated whether or not I should post this picture. I wasn't sure if you guys were ready for this much hotness. The Florida Panthers Ice Girls landed at the top of NHL Ice Girl Power Rankings a few weeks ago. Then we followed that up with our first ever NBA Cheerleader Power Rankings that found the Miami Heat dancers in the #7 slot.

So what happens when you put them together at some random charity event? Faces melt. That's what happens. You have been warned!

Florida Panthers Ice Girls Bikini Photo Shoot

I know this may come as a shock to you, but the Florida Panthers Ice Girls recently did a photo shoot for their 2014 bikini calendar and the pictures were . . . um . . . TREMENDOUS!

Florida Panthers Ice Girls' Halloween Costumes

The Florida Panthers had a home game the other night, so the Lady Panthers decided it was time to bust out their Halloween costumes for the fans. And thank God they did! I didn't think we could top yesterday's Minnesota Vikings Halloween costumes, but the Lady Panthers may have done it. No wonder they topped our 2013-2014 NHL Ice Girls Power Rankings!
