The New Orleans Pelicans Cheerleaders on this Cheer Selfie Saturday

While we are in the throes of a pretty great NBA Finals, I thought we would shout out to a couple of the teams that didn't make it to the Finals this year. But at least the New Orleans Pelicans made it to the playoffs this year. The next team we'll highlight today for Cheer Selfie Saturday didn't fair quite as well this year.

I Can't Decide If I Like the New Orleans Pelicans' Nickname

For some reason I just cannot get on board with nicknaming a NBA basketball team the Pelicans. There is nothing awe-inspiring or fear-inducing about a pelican. Of course, I don't really know a damn thing about pelicans, so maybe they ferocious creatures that are not to be messed with.

What I do know, however, is that I am totally onboard with the New Orleans Pelicans dancers. I don't care what they are called, these girls are smokin' hot and representing Nawlins just right!

The New Orleans Pelicans Make Their Official Pro Cheerleader Heaven Debut

Sure we featured the New Orleans Hornets dancers back in the day, but this is the first official post for the lovely ladies of Nawlins as the New Orleans Pelicans. After looking back over previous posts, though, I determined that I have been sorely under-representing the Big Easy (at least on the NBA side of things).

That is something I plan to alleviate this basketball season.

New Orleans Hornets' Cheerleaders On Draft Day

I'm guessing they were excited about getting Unibrow. I would be.

Another Hot New Orleans Hornets Cheerleader

I posted this Hornets hottie about a month ago, and she has been quite popular. So I was very happy when I stumbled upon yet another really attractive Hornets cheerleader. Life is good.

Holy Hell This Hornets Cheerleader Is Smokin' Hot

Anybody got a name on this little hottie?

New Orleans Hornets Dancers

Since we banged on the Saints for getting distracted by the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders and ruining their perfect season yesterday, I thought it was only fitting to some off some the Honeybees that cheer on Chris Paul and the rest of the New Orleans Hornets. So New Orleans, you win some & you lose some.
