Things are starting to get down to the nitty gritty in the NFL, and teams are scrambling to get into the playoffs or to secure some kind of home field advantage. As things stand right now, the New England Patriots are the #2 seed in the AFC and wouldn't have to leave Foxboro until the AFC Championship game. That is certainly a positive thing for Pats fans.
The Miami Dolphins, on the other hand, are sitting just outside the playoffs by virtue of losing the tiebreaker to the Baltimore Ravens. Which makes this game even more important for the Fins. I hate to bet against Tom Brady in December, but I think the boys from South Beach get it done today.
