Meet the New York Cosmos Girls
The New York Cosmos play in the North American Soccer League (the country's second biggest professional soccer league) and have a strong history as a franchise in this country. After all, it was the Cosmos that brought Pele to the US back in the 70s.
For our purposes, though, it is most important to point out that the Cosmos also have cheerleaders (which is rare for American soccer teams) they call the Cosmos Girls. And they are just lovely.
